Adam Joseph Highfill, 38, a longtime resident of Kittitas County, passed away unexpectedly on December 22, 2022 following an 18-month battle with Cardiomyopathy and Congestive Heart Failure.
Adam was born on June 10, 1984 at the Kittitas Valley Hospital in Ellensburg, Washington. He attended school in the Kittitas school district and graduated from KHS in 2002. After graduation he became a skilled tradesman, excelling in maintenance, as an upland hunting guide with his German Wirehaired Pointer, Hank, and working as a cellarman for Iron Horse Brewery.
Adam had a genuine love for the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and he enjoyed scouring the valley for Ellensburg Blue Agates. His love stemmed from childhood hunting and fishing trips that never ceased into adulthood. He shared this passion with family and friends throughout his entire life.
Adam is survived by his children Skyler Highfill, Isabelle Highfill, and Kamryn Haas; his wife Kristine Highfill; his father William "Bill" Highfill; his sister Jenna Highfill and his nephews Elon and Lincoln, and his soon to be niece, Haddie.
A graveside service for Adam will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at the IOOF Cemetery in Ellensburg.
Arrangements were entrusted to Johnston & Williams Funeral Home of Ellensburg.
