Bruce Alan Sully, 76, of Ellensburg was called away on December 18, 2024. His wife Judy of 44 years preceded him, and their journey together now continues in Heaven.
He is survived by four children - Jeanie Lynn Jennings, Bruce Frank Sully, David Hal Sully all of Ellensburg and Jonathan Alan Sully of Colville; 24 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many others where he was like a father that include Marcey Graham and Michael Becker.
A sudden illness left him unable to continue his trade in drywall and so he moved his family to Ellensburg in 1978 where he received his Manufacturing Engineering degree from CWU and then worked industrial manufacturing until his retirement. He loved watching the sun come and go over the Kittitas Valley and nowhere else would he want to call home.
He was called ‘Pops’ by those that new him and he loved to reminisce and tell stories. He would tell of times hunting the Clearwater on the Olympic Peninsula with his wife Judy. You would often find him sitting peacefully cross-legged on the ground under a tree talking with the Lord or to those around him. He would often say; “Here is something from a dumb old man”; and then recount a story or give some advice that helped you overcome something that you had been struggling with.
We will miss your stories. We will miss your advice. We will miss you. We love you Pops!
