Dennis H. Mosebar

September 19, 1953 — September 25, 2021

Cle Elum, Washington

Is it with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Haden Mosebar, 68, on September 25, 2021 at home surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer.

Dennis was born September 19, 1953 in Portland, Oregon. He graduated from Cle Elum Roslyn High School in 1971 and entered the Navy. After the Navy, Dennis built sailboats. It was at Clark Boats that he met his wife, Lori. They had just celebrated 42 years together. They have one son, Mathew Haden Mosebar.

They moved back to Cle Elum in the early 1980’s. In 2016, Dennis’s grandson, Joel Haden was born. Being a grandpa was everything to Dennis.

Dennis was retired from the logging industry. His passion was anything outdoors. He enjoyed hiking, watching nature, fishing, hunting, gardening and shoveling snow.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Laura and son, Matt and his wife Victoria and grandson, Joel. He is also survived by his brother Clinton Mosebar (Sheryl), sisters JoAnn Eddings (Robert), Crystal Clark (Darin), Sandy Lang (Steven), brother Morley Mosebar Jr., sister and brother-in-law, Matt and Christine Murray. Dennis had a special bond with his nephews, Philip Murray, Sam Mosebar and Daniel Eddings and nieces, Gabrial and April and his dear friend till the end, John Washburn.

At his request there will be no formal service but a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Melanoma Research Foundation (www.melanoma.org/give)

Johnston & Williams Funeral Home and Crematory of Cle Elum has been entrusted with caring for Dennis and his family.  Online condolences may be left at www.johnston-williams.com
