Kevin Dean Sizemore

July 6, 1981 — September 2, 2021

Cle Elum, Washington

Kevin D. Sizemore, 40, of Cle Elum passed away at his home on September 2, 2021. We will, per Kevin’s request, do as was done for his father in-law, and have a good ol Irish time celebrating his life and legacy starting at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday September 18, 2021 at 39406 303rd Ave SE, Enumclaw, WA 98022.

Kevin was a man known for having “the patience of Job” as his wife would say. He was born in San Bernardino, California to Sue Hill and Dale Sizemore. He moved to Auburn, Washington in his very early years, living with his mom and four siblings - Rachyl, Denny, Dane and Keith. It was just five houses down from his that he met and fell in love with his “Sweetie Pie” ShirleyAnn Delaney, at the age 16. Kevin and Shirley were inseparable from that day on.

Kevin graduated with honors from Auburn High School with the Class of 1999. He and ShirleyAnn were married on September 13, 2003, him at 21, her at 18, in Rochester, WA. They were excited to start their life as husband and wife.  They started their family by welcoming their first son, Joseph, in June 2005, followed by Shayne only a year later in July 2006.  In August 2011, Kevin and Shirley welcomed his “Little Girl” Elise to the world, and boy did she quickly become his world. Rounding out Kevin’s family was his youngest son, Kevin Philip aka Buckaroo aka to Kevin as “Buck-a-rooni” (sung in the Rice-a-roni theme song tone).

Kevin was one of the good ones. He was extremely handsome, remarkably intelligent and possessed an indefinable and irresistible character. He found a way into everyone’s heart. He was a PNW Local Union 30 carpenter for 19 years. The only thing that you could even compare to his impressive and unarguable talents as a finish carpenter was his loyalty to Surgent Inc. the company he worked with as a Foreman for 18 years. This was his second family. Kevin will be remembered for his quiet and calm nature, his brilliant skills in carpentry, and for his unwavering love and devotion to his wife Shirley. His children will remember him for his kind and soft nature, but also for taking time to play tea parties, fish, snowboard and be silly along with so much more. His wife will simply remember him as the love of her life.

In addition to his immediate family, Kevin leaves behind an incredible extended family of friends. Kevin was preceded in death by Shirley's father Philip in 2007, to whom Kevin looked up to as a father.

Kevin, just as deep as our love for you, so too is our grief.

Johnston & Williams Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with caring for Kevin and his family.  Online condolences may be left at www.johnston-williams.com
