Linda Emerson

Linda Emerson, 78, went home to the Lord on May 23, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 16 at the First United Methodist Church, 210 N Ruby in Ellensburg.

Linda was born on September 28, 1943 in Ellensburg to Ray and Verda (Cook) Nethken. She grew up in Ellensburg where she attended Lourdes Academy and graduated from Ellensburg High School with the class of 1962. After graduation, Linda married Gene, the love of her life, and started her adventures as an Army wife. Linda could make a home wherever they moved. She enjoyed camping, fishing, horseback riding, and especially spending time with friends and family.

Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gene Emerson; daughters Teresa Breckenridge (Sidney Al), and Tracy Lofy (Eric Nylander). She is also survived by her sister Maxine Webster (Sam), brother-in-law Verne D. Emerson (Wendy) of Albion, and three wonderful grandsons - Sidney A. Breckenridge (Megan), Blake Lofy (Tyger), and Nicholas Lofy. Numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she cared for very much also survive.

Linda's family wishes to extend the deepest thanks to Kittcom, KVFR, KVH, Wenatchee Life Flight, Davita, and Dr. C.J. Pierce and the amazing ICU staff at Confluence Hospital in Wenatchee. A special thank you to Henry and Tiffany at Johnston & Williams, you treated Linda as your own family member. We are truly grateful.
