Cle Elum, Washington

Mary Jane Giaudrone, 82, known and loved by many as “Squeak”, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at her home. Her graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Laurel Hill Memorial Park in Cle Elum.

Squeak was born on December 3, 1941 in Lincoln, Nebraska to parents Joseph & Velma (Zeller) Boydston. She had two brothers - Jim and Tommy Boydston. She was married to Robert Louis Giaudrone and they made their home together in Cle Elum.

Squeak is perhaps best known for her “Pip Squeak” column that ran in the NKC Tribune for many years. She kept many of us on the edge of our seats waiting for the next great story. She was also known for her dedication to helping Hope Source and became a savior to many community members. She was a light not only to our family but to many members of the community.

Squeak is survived by her daughter Gianna Lindsey and son-in-law Ronald Rakestraw; son Kyle Giaudrone; granddaughter Melonie Cooper and her husband Nick Hill; grandson Robert Lindsey; great-grandson Austin Cooper; great-granddaughter Kennedy Hill; as well as the newest family member, great-grandson Jackson Samuel Hill. She also has many nieces and nephews from the Boydstons, Woods, Glondos and the Giaudrone families.

Squeak will certainly be missed but never forgotten.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnston & Williams of Cle Elum. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.johnston-williams.com
