Norma Gray

November 6, 1948 — June 18, 2018

Norma Jean (Annas) Gray, 69, of East Wenatchee, Washington and formerly a long-time resident of the Puyallup area passed away peacefully on June 18th, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27 at Powers Funeral Home, 320 W. Pioneer Ave. in Puyallup. Private family urn committal will take place at the Orting Cemetery.

Norma was born on November 6, 1948 at Tacoma General Hospital to Frank & Francis (Franchini) Annas. She grew up in the Orting area and attended school in the Orting School District. Norma was a hardworking homemaker and dedicated, loving mother to her two daughters Cindy and Stacey. She was a devoted and loving grandmother to her five grandchildren. She was proud of her family and loved the chance to spend time with them any chance she could. Norma was a talented sewer and loved sitting outside in the sun. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Norma is survived by her daughters Cindy (John) Wright East Wenatchee and Stacey (Herbie) Legas of Edgewood; grandchildren Ashley Wright, James Legas, Brad Wright, Sarah Wright, and Gabrielle Wright. She is also survived by her sisters Faith Irish of Enumclaw, Vicki Dummer of Oregon, Illinois, Pam Neil of Buckley, and Patti Usack of Kent. Norma was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister Barbara Griebe-Annas and brother Larry Dean Annas. Because Norma loved the outdoors, memorial contributions in her honor are suggested to any wildlife or nature preservation society. Steward & Williams Funeral Home and Crematory of Ellensburg has been entrusted with caring for Norma's family. Online condolences may be left at www.steward-williams.com
