Sherry L. Osmonovich

December 22, 1942 — January 8, 2025

Cle Elum, Washington

Sherry Osmonovich, 82, loving wife of Louie Osmonovich, caring mom, foster mom, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, January 8, 2025, in her home. Sherry was born on December 22, 1942 in Seattle, Washington.

Sherry loved her family, hiking, her animals domestic and the wild ones that would visit the farm. Sherry devoted herself to the Lord, prayed and shared scripture with all. She remained a faithful servant her whole life. She will be dearly missed by us on earth, but we know that God is pleased to welcome her home.

Sherry graduated high school in 1961 and went to work at the World’s Fair in Seattle. She then started at the Bethel Temple Bible School. Sherry attended an RN Program for two years before getting her teaching degree Central Washington University. During her time at CWU, she met and married her husband Louie in 1975. She started teaching that year in Easton and retired from teaching at Cle Elum Roslyn Elementary where she was a fifth-grade teacher.

Sherry is survived by her husband Louie Osmonovich; step-mother Jo Bonzon; step-brother Stu Holdridge (wife Patty); daughter Cathy Osmonovich; daughter-in-law Marcee Osmonovich; son Roger Muhler (wife Lori); daughter Erin Dorgan; grandsons Cody (wife Elizabeth), Michael, Gary, Alexander and Benjamin; granddaughters Kendra and Julie; sister-in-law Jennie Henderson, as well as many great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Bob Bonzon, mother Jeanne Bonzon, brother Gary Bonzon, step-sister Laurie Treosti and son Casey Osmonovich.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for the sympathy cards, prayers and comforting words. May God continue to bless you all. Sherry wanted to let everyone know “I love you all so very much and I will be praying for you all still from Heaven.”

The family will greet friends at a visitation from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 17 at Johnston & Williams in Cle Elum. Her funeral will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18 also at the funeral home with burial to follow at the Dr. Starcevich No.1 Cemetery in Roslyn. A celebration of life reception will also be held later in the spring.

Memorial contributions in Sherry's honor are suggested to any cause tied to a local upper county school that directly benefits the students in our community.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnston & Williams of Cle Elum. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.johnston-williams.com
