Shirley Nelson

Shirley Nelson of Ellensburg, Washington passed peacefully from this life on April 24 at the age of 96.

Shirley Grace Nelson was born on January 3, 1922, the youngest child of John and Clara Nelson (Schmidt) of St. Charles, Illinois. They preceded her in death as did one brother, Norman and one granddaughter, Emily Wickwire.

She is survived by her two children, Carol Wickwire (Richard) of Ellensburg, Washington and Jim Nelson (Linda) of Lakewood, Colorado and their families. On behalf of Shirley, the family wishes to express their appreciation to the staffs of both Hearthstone and Prestige Care. Private services will be held in Ellensburg, Washington.
