Wayne K. Lovejoy

Wayne K. Lovejoy, 70, of Cle Elum, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024 at his home. A military graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent.

Wayne was born on May 25, 1953 in Renton, Washington. He grew up and attended school in Bellevue.  In 1970, Wayne left high school and enlisted in the United States Army and served in Korea before his discharge in August 1973.

Following his return from the service, he moved around and held several jobs. He eventually settled in Redmond and worked as a medical technician then landscaper. Later, Wayne moved to North Bend with his parents then in 2018 moved to Cle Elum.

Wayne enjoyed driving local back roads, target shooting and especially spending time talking and laughing with family and friends.

Wayne is survived by his son Jeremy (Liz) and daughter Lynda, as well as granddaughters (Emmalyn and Autum), aunt (Ladona), cousins, nieces, nephews, sister (Linda) and friends.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Johnston & Williams of Cle Elum.
